According to the report from Variety, the incredible zombie apocalyptic story of Walking Dead that ventured on AMC for 10 seasons will finally come to rest after its final 11th season. However, the network has called for a spinoff series based on the fan-favorite characters Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier.<br>

The Walking Dead to End With Season 11 But Daryl-Carol Spinoff Will Continue
The 11th season had been extended and was, in fact, due to run on AMC in 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been delayed, and now it will run for two years starting in late 2021 in which it will relay the story in 24 episodes. There was an earlier announcement from AMC that said there would be another 6 episodes that will be considered a part of its last season i.e., season 10.
Actors Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride will reprise their roles in the spinoff series, which is currently untitled. Reedus has played the character Daryl Nixon, and McBride has played the role of Carol Peletier, and the duo has been raved by the fans for their splendid on-screen chemistry in Walking Dead. They are the face of the show and the only characters who have been there since season 1, which premiered on October the 31st, 2010.
In addition “The Walking Dead” and it’s now revealed untitled spinoff, the AMC also holds the rights of two other companion series “Fear the Walking Dead,” which is set launch its sixth installment on October the 11th and “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” which is also set to air in the month of October, precisely after the series finale of the tenth season of the original series.
