Amcom Mobile Connect & SMS • Physicians, nurses, and administrative staff members are carrying a wide range of cellular devices, often the device is not owned by the hospital itself, but personally owned. • Notable trend is the increasing reliance on the BlackBerry and other Smartphone's and a growing trend for staff to manage two devices • Smartphone's now being looked at for more healthcare needs • Receiving pages, other messages related to patient care • Clinicians and IT teams alike are looking to consolidate capabilities • No more tool belt full of devices • Smartphone used for everything
