(CCSS SS Literacy Standards 2-5,7) “My Voice” EQ’s How can I read complex stories and understand them? (CCSS ELA Reading Anchor Standards 1-6) How do I write a story that gets other people talking? (CCSS ELA Writing Anchor Standards 3-6,9)

Abbreviations and Explanation of Terms “DO” These are the activities that I hope to accomplish for that day “DUE” Assignments that are due on the day indicated ML “My Learning” – an assignment that relates to the ML goals HR “Homeroom” – relates to a homeroom activity on Tues/Thurs IC “In-class”... this activity/assignment will be done during class time IN “Interactive Notebook” T “Team”... this activity/assignment will be done by a team of students ST “Stamp” I will stamp this work based on completion... graded later BCD “Big Circle Discussion” is a type of discussion, usually not graded LC “Learning Check” is a non-graded Wednesday assessment HW Homework GTO “Graphic Thinking Organizer” A visual Chart to help learn content
