CED Application Reviewer Training 7.1: Elimination of a Food Desert
Bonus Points – Elimination of a Food Desert • Basis for scoring: The extent to which the proposed project addresses the lack of access to healthy, nutritious food options; identifies the community as a food desert; and demonstrates how the project will address a food desert need (i.e. greater community access to fresh, affordable, nutritious food; improved food infrastructure to facilitate access; enhanced supply chain; etc.) • 10 points possible • Discussed on p. 45 of FOA
