How to Register for Classes Log-in to http://my.regent.edu
Click on “Genisys”. Next, click on the “Student” link.
Click on “Registration” to begin the registration process. Click on “Register and Add/Drop Classes”
Select Term Fall 2011 Add the CRNs from your handout to your Classes Worksheet Ex: 10691 Choose “Class Search”
Under “Subject”, scroll down to highlight a subject area with the heading “UG”. (Note: Comm/Arts students may need to choose a course with the heading “Comm UG”.) Leave everything else blank and click “Class Search” at the bottom of the screen.
Click on a box next to the course section of your choice. Note: Classes marked with a “C” are closed, due to being at full capacity. Classes marked “NR” are not currently available for registration. CRN Course # Credits Title Time (if applicable) Professor Date Online or Campus Click on “Register” at the bottom of the screen. Congratulations! You have registered for your first course!
To confirm your registration, click on “Your Detail Schedule.” (It is in tiny font at the very bottom center of the screen.) The screen below will list important information about each of your classes. Student ID and Name Total Semester Credits Course Title, Number, & Section Confirmation of Registration Credit Hours This course is Online. This time means “OL course.” This is Session C. Professor & email contact
Don’t forget to purchase your textbooks! Visit www.regent.edu/bookstore for information on purchasing textbooks. Begin by choosing the correct semester from the “Select A Campus Term” drop-down. Continue following the prompts to find your correct course and section number. Be sure to order textbooks early so that they arrive on time for the start of class!
