Overview of what’s to come with IOS 8

IOS 8 will change the functioning of iPhones in many ways. This is due to the changes the operating system is coming with from what the IOS 7 has. It will be compatible with devices, which can work on IOS 7 such as iPhone 4s, 5, 5c, 5s, iPod touch 5th generation, iPad 2, iPad with Retina display and iPad air. Only iPhone 4 will not benefit from the new software.

  2. IOS 8 will change the functioning of iPhones in many ways. This is due to the changes the operating system is coming with from what the IOS 7 has. It will be compatible with devices, which can work on IOS 7 such as iPhone 4s, 5, 5c, 5s, iPod touch 5th generation, iPad 2, iPad with Retina display and iPad air. Only iPhone 4 will not benefit from the new software. IOS 8 will come with the following: Use of iCloud to save photos The iCloud photo library will enable the saving of every photo taken and all edits using iOS photo app. It also has new photo editing capabilities. The photos can also be viewed on other apple devices.

  3. Connecting of apple devices The operating software will allow one to continue working on another device such as in sending an email. If you start it on iPhone or iPad, you can complete it in Mac. Messaging and making of calls can also be done across devices. Smart keyboard The keyboard will make typing easier by completing words and sentences, whether on email or on messages. This is by providing three suggestions on word- finishing and in the sentences, providing guesses on the next word.

  4. Family sharing This will allow family to share iBooks, iTunes, movies, songs and other purchases up to six people through the Family Sharing feature on iOS 8. It will also allow kids to ask for permission to download expensive apps. iClouddrive iOS 8 will come with iCloud drive, which will allow working on documents from anywhere on any device. Health app The app will bring the scattered health and fitness devices in one location. The health devices could be dealing with heart rate, blood sugar, calories, cholesterol or other health issues.

  5. Touch ID The fingerprint scanner will be used on many apps, not just on the lockscreen, and in buying of iTunes. This goes to the extent of scanning credit cards using the iPad or iPhone camera and filing in the details. Camera The camera app will have the time-lapse camera mode leading to capturing of extended moments and speeding of video. Group messaging The iOS 8 will allow adding and dropping of people on conversations while sharing locations using the iMessages app. It will also come with voice and video messaging. Send last location The feature allows the last iPhone location to be saved in the iCloud when the phones battery is about to die. Siri This voice recognition application will be used to give commands
