LMC Rules All school rules apply in the Library Media Center • No food • No drink • No gum/candy • No cell phone use • No I-Pods/MP-3 Players
LMC - Overview Staff Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Services:Circulating library and reference collection, internet access and printing. .05 cents per page charge for printing Loan Period: Books may be checked out for two (2) weeks. Late fines are .10 cents per day
LMC Rules • Teachers may send up to 5 students to the LMC during class time on a pass. • The students must have an assignment to complete. • Students must remain in the LMC until the end of the period. • Restroom passes will not be given. • Substitute teachers are not allowed to bring students to the LMC. • Students visiting the LMC on a pass are not to enter when the center is in use by another class.

GROUP 3 - INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIORS - 3-13 Use of the CPS Network or any Information Technology Device for any unauthorized purpose not otherwise listed in this Code GROUP 4 - INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIORS - *4-12 Knowingly or intentionally using the CPS Network or Information Technology Devices to spread viruses to the CPS Network GROUP 5 - INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIORS - *5-14 Use of any computer, including social networking websites, or use of any information technology device, or hacking into the CPS Network to stalk, harass, bully or otherwise intimidate others, to access student records or other unauthorized information, and/or to otherwise cause a security hazard GROUP 6 - INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIORS - 6-2 Intentionally causing or attempting to cause all or a portion of the CPS Network to become inoperable INTERVENTIONS AND CONSEQUENCES ♦ Teacher-Student-Resource Person-Administrator Conference ♦ In-School Suspension (one to five days) ♦ Detention -Before School -After School -Saturday ♦ Suspension (one to ten days) and/or Disciplinary Reassignment per Area approval ♦ Suspension of CPS Network Privileges for improper use of the CPS Network or Information Technology Devices for up to one year in addition to other disciplinary actions listed13
Lunch Period Access • Lunch time passes are distributed between 8:00am – 8:20am. • Students must be in uniform, have their ID and an assignment to complete. • No service is given to students without I.D. badges. • 35 students will be allowed to use the Library Media Center/Computer Lab during lunch. • Students may not sign for other students on the sign-in sheet. • A colored, dated pass is given to each student who signs for lunch-time access.
