Our Experience • How we were introduced to Brook: • We first heard about Brook through our college, City and Islington College. • Benefits of training with Brook: • Gained more knowledge about sexual health • Learnt how to communicate with young people in a professional manner • Experience gained which can be used for the future
What the training included: Learning about all the known STI’s and contraceptives available at the brook clinics and other SH clinics Where to get tested and treated for sexually transmitted infections and treatments for them and ability to signpost YP to services needed Learning how to communicate with young people in the correct manner as not to make them feel uncomfortable or intimidated brook brook
How may training with brook help us in the future? • Gain more experience by using the training already received to help with future events • Share the knowledge gained with other people so they may also benefit from it • Use the information for personal development • This training achieved can help to start a career in this field • Brook does not only offer training sessions for a couple of months but shares its knowledge and experience which will stay with all of us for a life time
