WPS Collaborative Structure • Leadership Team creates 3 year District Plan • Curriculum & Instruction, Assessment & English Language Education, Intervention, and Special Education departments collaborate to align the use of grant allocations to support district strategic objectives • Title I Director collaborates with principals, administrators, teachers, coaches, counselors, students, families, and community partners on programming to support the whole child: Academic, Social-Emotional, and Service Learning

Think, Pair, Share • Take a few moments to think about ways your district utilizes Title I funding to produce, refine, and utilize programs to support learning, achievement, social-emotional, technology, and leadership pieces for your students. • Please pair up with a partner and share your experiences and expertise. • Please share one current best practice with our group at large.

Intervention Model, Data Collection/Analysis, STAT, IPMs • Sustained, research-based, effective Reading Intervention Model (Top 3% of districts in U.S. using Read 180 and System 44) • Emerging research-based Mathematics Intervention Model • Multiple assessments provide faculty with data to drive instructional decisions, student groups, and to identify and support potential students in need of intervention • Student-Teacher Assistance Teams (STAT) at every school • Ongoing Instructional Planning Meetings (IPMs) at every school: Administration, Teachers, Instructional Coaches, Interventionists, and Title I/Intervention Director (if needed) present
