  4. Incoming Undergraduate Class • 3,825 Undergraduates in “Class of 2014” • Every Canadian province and territory represented • Overall admission average of 87.9%

Why NSSE? • High engagement linked to positive educational outcomes • Methodology is robust and widely used • Engagement scores help to monitor strengths and weaknesses • Uses 42 key questions and surveys 1st year and 4th year • We now have very detailed data that allows comparisons at • unit level (e.g. Electrical Engineering) across over 40 universities • in Canada
