Selenium offers a playback/ record tool for authoring all the tests without learning any test script language (Selenium IDE). It also offers test domain specific language, that is selense for writing the tests in different programming languages like Ruby, C#, Python, Java, PHP, Groovy and Perl. This will help in running all the tests against all the modern web browsers. Selenium can be used on Macintosh, Windows, and Linux platforms. • Selenium helps in automating the browsers. It also helps in automating all the boring web based administration tasks.
