Future Plans • Internship Ends May 1, 2003 • Alexis will continue 100% time with ATLAS • End of Pixel mechanics production ~spring 2005 • Supported 100% by project until at least ~summer 2004 • Current Responsibilities – next 6 months • Design of insertion scheme for Pixel “Package” • Integration of rollers/sliders into package design • Design of insertion “driver” mechanism • Testing of limited insertion “dry-fit” • Future Plans • Assignments to be determined • Larger integration role • Testing/validation of composite components (maybe more analysis) • Continued presence at CERN meetings N.
