  2. Welcome About BAP We are a group of business leaders and citizens with a wide variety of political affiliations, who have come together out of a personal commitment to representative democracy and a shared concern for our country. We are affiliated with American Promise, the leading non-partisan organization working to unite efforts to craft, pass, and ratify the 28th Amendment. Our mission is to unite business leaders in non-partisan advocacy for a 28th Amendment to end unlimited political spending, restore honest competition, and reestablish integrity in government. We provide educational forums, tools, and support to help business leaders clarify where they stand and take effective action to advance reasonable reform. This workbook is designed to help you think through your plans as you consider starting a local BAP Chapter. Once complete, it becomes a working plan you can share with your colleagues and update each quarter.
