  5. Planning and Communication • Effective POWER presentations have: • A well-developed plan (for post leaders and members) • Shared peer leader responsibilities • An Introduction, Body and Conclusion • An opportunity at the end for audience questions

  6. Let’s Try It Out! • First Step: • Work with your co-leader to complete the “Script Delivery and Communication” worksheet in your binder • Second Step: • By post, present your plan to the group • Field comments and questions from the group

  7. Summary • Discuss POWER with the Commander; keep him/her “in the loop” • Tag-team with your co-leader • Practice and deliver a structured presentation: • Introduction • Body • Conclusion • Questions
