Vector Control Worker Responsibilities: Collect and Input Data • Use forms to fill in all required data • Identify information that is required, including location, premises, demographic and source details • Complete the reporting forms with accurate information • Submit the forms on time MODULE FOUR

Summary Vector Control Data Collection • Data is collected to: • Keep records of households, monitor, know past actions, track • Collected data include: • Householder information, breeding status, methods used and amount of insecticide • This data is used to: • Make decision and inform • Vector Control Worker Responsibilities • Collect and input accurate and timely data MODULE FOUR

  12. Practice Completing the Vector Control Form • Work in small groups of three. One person will be the householder and the other two people vector control workers. Round 1 will last for 20 minutes. • One of the vector control workers lead the discussion and conduct a first time householder visit • The other vector control worker is responsible for completing the form. • Switch roles: This will last for 20 minutes. • the vector control worker who led the conversation will now be responsible for completing the vector control survey form • the householder will roleplay the vector control worker who leads the householder visit • the person who completed the form will play the role of the householder. • Switch roles one more time.
