  2. Exactly what does forgiveness mean? Forgiveness mean letting go of grudges, bitterness, anger, hurtfulness, resentment and or any thoughts of revenge and embracing the power of forgiveness and moving forward with your life!

  3. Why choose to forgive? Choosing forgiveness mean that you are letting go of any negative grudges and you are no longer going to let it define your life how your have been hurt.

  4. The process of forgiveness! To begin the process of change for forgiveness one might want to consider: “The value of forgiveness and its important in your life at a given time. Reflect on the facts of the situation, how you’re reacted, and how this combination has affected your life, health and well being. When you are ready, actively choose to forgive the person who’s offended you. Move away from your role as a victim and release the control and power the offending person and situation have had in your life” (Mayo Clinic Adult Health, 2011, p. 1).

Learning to forgive and letting go opens up doors fro peace and kindness which can also lead to: “Healthier relationships Greater spiritual and psychological well-being Less anxiety, stress and hostility Lower blood pressure Fewer symptoms of depression Lower risk of alcohol and substance abuse” (Mayo Clinic Adult health, 2011, p. 1).

  7. New and better life! Forgiving someone opens up so many doors and allows you to live a better healthier happier life!
