Version 5 – Cut-Over Enginuity Version 4 Enginuity Version 5
Version 5 - Cut-Over • Safe Harbors has released Enginuity Version 5 for the user community (August) • The HMIS software vendor, Adsystech, will no longer support Version 4 after November 30, 2013. • All Safe Harbors Users will need to convert to Version 5 • December 1st, Version 4 will be turned-off and no longer accessible.
Version 5 - Cut-Over • Safe Harbors is ready to assist users with the conversion. • Remotely • On Phone / Via e-mail • In Person

AHAR Basics • The Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR) is a report to the U.S. Congress on the extent and nature of homelessness. • The AHAR uses aggregate HMIS data from communities across the country. • The AHAR is also a good tool for communities to assess the quality of their data in HMIS.
AHAR Data • Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, and Permanent Supportive Housing programs are included • Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Programs (HPRP), Safe Havens, Permanent Housing, and Service Only programs are NOT included • Domestic violence programs are NOT included
AHAR Timeline • Report Period: Oct 1, 2012–Sept 30, 2013 • Report Draft Due to HUD: Nov 15th • Final Report Due to HUD: Dec13th
AHAR Data Clean-up • Agency Support Reps will contact you regarding data clean-up in the next couple weeks • Common data clean-up: • Data completeness on Universal Data Elements • Utilization rates • Date of Birth or Program Entry Date errors
Safe Harbors User’s Group • Group of volunteer HMIS users • Role of User’s group • Issues such as data quality, policies and procedures, testing new system features, improving user experience, prioritizing tickets, and addressing user needs
Safe Harbors User’s Group • Representation of users or management from small, medium, and large agencies with an interest in improving Safe Harbors for the user community • First meeting, September 27th • Minutes available on table • There is room for more volunteers • Sign-up today!
