  2. Textile Engineering • Textile Engineering deals with the compliance of science and Engineering principals with design and control of all other features like fiber, textile, apparel processes, products and machinery.

What Textile Engineers do… • Read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings, or computer generated reports. • Talk with engineers to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information. • Develop test models and alternate designs and processing method to assess achievability and decided if possible new applications or modifications are needed.

  4. What Textile Engineers do… • Research and analyze costumer design proposals • Provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems or complaints. • Estimate costs and make bids for things like engineeringand construction. • Apply engineering principals to up-and-coming fields.

  5. Education The best thing to do would get a bachelors degree in one of the fallowing majors… • Biochemical Engineering • Electromechanical Engineering • Mechatronic, Robotics, and Automation Engineering • Paper Science and Engineering …Must also take a 12 std. Board exam

  7. Person Qualities To be a textile engineer you must have these fallowing personal qualities… • Hard working • Able to deal with customers • Good math skills • Creativity • Systematic • Assertive

  8. Location Unfortunately now since most products have been made in India most Textile Engineering jobs are also located in India or out of the country. Although there are few positions available in the US.

  9. Salaries • Usually begins around 50,000 dollars salary, when you start with a bachelors degree. • Working for different companies and longer you can end up earning around 70,000 dollar salary.
