CORNERING LIGHTS • Turn Signal Activated • All the time • Night time only • Will Stay on until Flasher Turns Signal Light on again • Some systems have extra contacts inside turn signal switch C281 to C283
CORNERING LIGHTS PARKING AND TAILLIGHTS • Two Bulb System • Relay controlled • Three Bulb System • Some systems powered through headlight switch and by battery • Other systems powered by turn signal switch
Parking lights off / turn signal on • Marker light receives power from turn signal switch • Ground for side marker through park light filament • Side Marker will flash with turn signal light Page C287
Parking lights on / turn signal off • Marker light receives power from park lights circuit • Ground for side marker through turn light filament • Side Marker will come on with park lights
Turn Signal On / Park Lights On • Voltage equal to both sides of Marker Light • Flasher turns off Turn Signal Light then Turn filament is ground for Marker Light • Will Stay on until Flasher Turns Signal Light on again
Turn Signal on / Parking Light On • Wired parallel with with parking lights. • high resistance side marker light bulb • ground through turn signal filament • turn signal filament less resistance than side marker filament Is this drawing correct?
