  5. History of D.A.R.E. • Created in Los Angelas • In 1983 • Created for kids to not take drugs

  6. What’s Taught • Is a 9 week program • Teach about drugs • And peer/personal pressure

  7. Did you know???? • Police officer led • Grades P-12 • Helps to combat peer pressure • Non-profit organization
