  3. Relevancy of the Bible In Old Testament- Matthew 5:18 Would not pass away bit by bit, but all at once! Jesus said every bit of the Law had Force & therefore Every Letter had Relevance

  10. God Has Given the Final Law What could be more “relevant” than something that Lives & will Continue to Live Forever? 1 Peter 1:24,25 “endures forever” Universal Application – Mark 16:15 Anyone who fails to comply with the terms of salvation in Mark 16:16 will be Lost Eternally.

God Has Given the Final Law Needs No Improvement 2 John 9 “abide in the doctrine of Christ” Universal Application – Mark 16:15 Anyone who fails to comply with the terms of salvation in Mark 16:16 will be Lost Eternally. God’s Words were relevant when written & will continue to be so until time is no more!

  12. Why do people think the Bible is Not Relevant? “Times have changed” Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 “nothing new under the sun” “Man is different today” “People back then were primitive, superstitious, naïve, ignorant… in contrast we are ‘modern 20th century men.’”

  13. Why do people think the Bible is Not Relevant? People in Biblical Times considered themselves “Modern” 530 BC Nebuchadnezzar – Daniel 4:30 57 AD Town clerk of Ephesus – Acts 19:35 Every Generation has considered themselves MODERN compared to the ones before them!

  14. Truth is – Man is THE SAME! James 5:17 “a man with a nature like ours…” Man has the Same Problems Hebrews 4:11 Man has the Same Problems in Every Generation 2 Peter 2:1 Instead of CHANGING THE BIBLE, need to CHANGE MAN to CONFORM TO BIBLE!

  15. Truth is – Man is THE SAME! Man is still a Sinner Romans 3:23 “all have sinned” Which sin listed do we no longer find among men? What EVIL do you read about in the Bible that no longer exists? Romans 1:29-31; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Galatians 5:19-21

The Bible Addresses Man’s Problems Don’t be Deceived by New Names Alcoholism = Drunkenness – 1 Corinthians 6:10 Child Abuse = ‘without natural affection’ – 2 Timothy 3:3 Drugs = i.e. drunkenness- Ephesians 5:18 Incest = 1 Corinthians 5:1 Stress= worry, anxiety, care- 1 Peter 5:7 Phobias = ‘fear’- Romans 8:31

  21. Where has Human Reasoning Brought Us? Man says: 1. Give needles to Addicts Birth Control Clinics in High Schools 2. Leave Children Alone to develop their own value systems 3. All we need is MORE MONEY!

  22. Where is the man: That Does Not Need God? That Can Govern Himself? Without an Eternal, Accountable Soul? The Bible is for ALL MEN, of ALL TIMES!
