F30 Award • Fellowship for students in an MD/PhD or other dual degree program • Provides a portion of tuition, fees and stipend (stipend is fixed and tuition is a percentage, both determined by NIH) • The fellowship usually also supports the final two clinical years of medical school

F33 Award • Senior Fellowship Award • Experiences scientists who wish to make major changes in the direction of their research careers • Support the stipend, which depends on the years as a postdoctoral fellow • All some institutes participate
