ESE applied for a no cost extension to extend the RTTT end date from 9/23/14 to 6/30/15 • Extension would apply to work funded at the state level as well as to LEAs’ allocation (fund code 201) grants
Grant planning: • There will not be any additional funding • Scope will not change—same projects and guidelines http://finance1.doe.mass.edu/grants/grants12/rfp/doc/201_b.docx • LEAs aren’t required to carry funds into FY15
File your final grant expenditure report to close your FY13 grant if you haven’t already • If necessary, amend your grant after June 30 to reflect the actual amount that you drew down—any remaining balance will be available after final reporting • If you draw down money that you don’t spend, you will need to return it to us after you file your final report and we will add it to your remaining balance
FY14 workbooks are now available on the Portal: 14rttt_0008.xls • Download and review if you haven’t already • LEAs can make changes before we approve their grant • FY14 will run from 7/1/13 to 6/30/14 • Added FY15 budget fields to workbook, but locked pending NCE decision • If the NCE is approved, FY15 will run from 7/1/14 to 6/30/15; if not, it will run from 7/1/14 to 9/23/14 29
