  5. DISTRICT GRANTS – Local Community • Require active Rotarian participation • Up to $A2,500 contribution from District • Match Club $1 for $1 • Payment on approval • Report required as well as copies of invoices Just ASK yourself WHY NOT …… and contact your Foundation Co-ordinator

DISTRICT GRANTS – International • Require an International Partner – Rotary Club or approved 3rd Party • May be a prelude to a Global Grant • District contributes up to $6,000 matching 50c in $1 • Activities to fit with Areas of Focus • Identify beneficiaries, sustainability and measures of success • MOU required • Report required as well as copies of invoices

  10. GLOBAL GRANTS Involve other Clubs or Districts • Minimum budget - $US30,000 • TRF matches Clubs 50% and DDF 100% • Needs assessment • Plan and identify Partners Club(s) $16k Result $40k Club(s) $16k TRF $8k DDF $8k TRF$8k

  12. GLOBAL GRANTS Multi Step Process • Consider what you want to do • ? District Grant funded project first • Discuss with D9800 Foundation • Download scoping document • Submit to Grants coordinator • Enter details onlineApproval may take up to 3 months

FOUNDATION GRANTS – Stewardship • Qualification • attendance at Grants Seminar • Club-District MOU for current year • MAJOR MOU OBLIGATIONS • Separate Bank Account for Foundation Funds • Comply with reporting requirements • Written Financial Management Plan & Bank Account signatory policy(available from District Foundation website)
