OBJETIVES • The objective of this study was to determine the influence they had, the immune system, emotional problems and stress for the development of different types of cancer in kids and teens in the region of Cochabamba, Bolivia.
INTRODUCTION Cancer has become one of the chronic diseases of greatest impact on health and one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality, although they are trying to reduce the incidence of this condition trying to find therapy and drugs treat this disease, continuing the increased incidence of cancer
INTRODUCCION Representing a 12% annual growth 2011, 192 cases of children with cancer were recorded and for 2013 a slight increase is perceived to 327 infants in treatment in 2012 increased to 223 cases BOLIVIA-cancer The most common cases are leukemia 46%, lymphomas 11% Retinoblastoma 10%

INTRODUCTION • Biochemists and physiologists describe that the stress in the first stage can manifest itself by inhibiting the immune system and other disorders. which produce very visible symptoms of stress in kids, as suffering from stomachaches and headaches, be more angry, irritable or explosive and eating disorders.
INTRODUCTION • When we are stressed (in form cronic) we release cortisol and adrenaline that stimulate the release of inflammatory substances, the sympathetic nervous system and block the natural killer, thus promoting the development of cancer.

Kids and teens with cáncer /hospital manuel ascencio Villarroel • Based on an endorsement of bioetica awarded by the faculty of medicine • It was undertaken a Cross-sectional study realized in January and February 2016 And informed consent signed Parents and or guardians of participants were surveyed • shows focal:whith aged 2 months to 16 years of age (n=45) METHODS A descriptive analysis was performed
Emotional problems: often they felt distressed, depressed or anxious, exhausted Signs and symptoms of weakened immune system: they were usually affected by influenza and viruses, had muscle pain and joint constant Questionnaire cancer methods • signs and symptoms of stress: especially, headache and stomach, disturbance in food
RESULTS • They were usually affected by influenza and viruses 51.11% • had muscle pain and joint constant 44.44% • had watery eyes and nose running 35.55% • had persistent headache 40% • much tired and fatigued despite the rest 35.56% • sick regularly 31.11% • was delayed recovery of disease 28.88% • exhibited a fixed pattern of disease 28.88% • quarreled endlessly with the disease 24.44% They had two or more signs and symptoms (low immunity) that the immune system was weakened 86.67%.
RESULTS They had two or more warning signs, symptoms and physical changes in stress 79.26%. • Especially, headache and stomach 53.33% • disturbance in food 51.11% • they felt anxious 48.89% • were too sensitive 46.67% • were tired 44.44% • had nightmares 37.77 % • they were distracted or thoughtful 33.33% • were concerned 31.11% • her hands sweat 22.22%
RESULTS They had one or more emotional problems mismanaged, for loss, failure or trauma 60,0% • Often they felt: distressed 40% • depressed or anxious 37.78% • exhausted 33.33% • felt fear or loneliness 22.22% • angry 20% • extreme anxiety 15.56% • nervous anguish 15.56%
This study found CONCLUSIONS That for the development of cancer suffered by kids and tenns, they influenced both mismanaged emotional problems, as stress and especially the immune system weakened in them, as a result of psychosomatic disorders that the exposed to they to the disease
