SLICP - What is it? SLICP is: • Annual program, July-June timeframe • For State and Local Government • Capture of digital spatial data, aerial photography, satellite imagery and map production Designed to reduce cost and avoid duplication in data capture
SLICP – Can I Benefit? Yes! If you can: • Engage in the process with (potentially) 18 month lead times • Spatial data requirements have a shared interest across government OR can • Contribute to the cost of data capture
SLICP – How Does it Work? • Requests for data capture called in November, bids closing the following February • Requests lodged using template application forms – available on the WALIS website • Bids are collected, collated and cross government interests identified • Program developed, commences July, ends following June
