1) We hear the voice of a Savior when we become desperate enough to listen.
Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great,… And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:12
The robbers who had been crucified with Him were also insulting Him with the same words. Matthew 27:44

2) It is the voice of our Savior that determines our destiny.
…the vilest offender who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
One alone was saved upon the cross that none might despair; and only one, that none might presume.
