  2. Observations: 1) Both men were sinners (criminals). 2) Both had equal access to Jesus. 3) Both men still had time.

  3. 1) We hear the voice of a Savior when we become desperate enough to listen.

  4. Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great,… And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:12

  5. The robbers who had been crucified with Him were also insulting Him with the same words. Matthew 27:44

  6. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Matthew 5:3

  7. 2) It is the voice of our Savior that determines our destiny.

  8. A) A word of salvation

  9. …the vilest offender who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

  10. One alone was saved upon the cross that none might despair; and only one, that none might presume.
