European Education Initiative for Central Asia In preparation by the European Commission, aiming at: • An effective mechanism to increase coordination • Developing dialogue at ministerial and technical levels • Mobilizing more EU (Member States) and other donors • Increasing visibility of the EU contribution • Technical working groups at regional level • ETF: Regional VET policy meeting in Dushanbe, 27-29 October 2008
ETF projects in 2009 They are under discussion for ETF Work Program 2009. What is considered for Central Asia (DCI): • Country project(s) • A possible regional project for 3-5 countries
Possible new joint project 2009-2011 What we would like the project to do: • Build on NQF and SDPR project results • Describe learning outcomes, develop VET programs, train teachers • Work at school organisation and management level • Continue in the sector of tourism • Be linked to national policies. Your ideas are welcome!
