Naming Rights • Naming Rights are good, not evil • Makes fiscal sense • Maximizes private sector contributions • Saying no, handicaps fundraising efforts • Standard Practice • Almost all new sports facilities have been named • Naming is community based • There are other ways to recognize individuals "3+1" Project 2010

  8. What’s in the Name? • Setting guidelines jointly with city administration that incorporates: • The Right Fit • The Right Terms • Choosing the name with care and dignity for our community "3+1" Project 2010
