Definition • Similar to a facility at an ICU unit, the earth’s life support system is defined as an all-inclusive environmental and related social system to maintain and improve societal harmony, safety, nutrition, medical care, economic standards and new technology development, an integrated system that supports all sorts of life. • It is based on the above concept and definition that the EOLSS has been developed.
