Weather • Trade winds keep the islands temperate year-round • The average tmperature in summer (April to November) ranges from 75 – 88 degrees and is typically warmer and drier • In winter (December to March) the average temperature ranges from 68 – 80 degrees • The average water temperature is 74 degrees

  3. Best Times to Visit • High travel season typically runs from December through April • Costs are higher and fewer rooms are available • The best weather is often found in April, May, September, and October • If you are planning to surf, wait until winter, which is the time for big surf

What to Bring Clothing Gear Sun block and sun glasses are a must A small backpack is handy when hiking or visiting the beach Snorkeling gear, a Frisbee, a twel and other beach essentials can increase your enjoyment • Because of the temperate climate, shorts, T-shirts, and sandals are necessities • For excursions to higher elevations, pack long pants and a light jacket • Depending on the length of stay, bring at least one swimsuit
