Training the Champions of Change • Abertay & SKINT– WP5 & regional project • Preparation of training material • Delivery formats • Workshops • Online • On-site
Abertay suite of training • Three key areas: • Identifying needs and delivering training to Local Authority & Scottish Water • Development of a new modular course ‘Urban Water Planning’ course within SKINT objectives • Interactive learning game; WaterTown • Cross-over between the three? • Consultation process initially undertaken with Local Authority • Identification of knowledge gaps and training needs
1. Local Authority training Delivery: Face to face training sessions and workshops Location: Local offices across Scotland • Target: Local Authority staff from a range of departments including: • Planners • Architects • Parks • Building control • Roads • And at different levels within departments
