  6. Roe vs. Wade legalized abortion on January 22, 1973 • Paris Peace Accords were signed January 27, 1973 • To avoid impeachments, president Nixon resigned on August 8, 1974. • The “king of rock ‘n’ roll”, Elvis Presley, died on August 16, 1977.
