AIS Profile: What is an AIS? Technology • 5 servers (production, DC/DNS, staging, backup, public/private web, etc.) and other hardware / software - all new in 2009 • New Storage Area Network (SAN) – new in 2010 • Technical support contract w/ ACRO Services Corp. – an award winning, Michigan-based IT firm operating since 1982 Users and Agencies • 1,721 AIS user accounts • 236 partner agencies across Michigan access the AIS Usage and Utilization • Current AIS Data Storage (production): about 15 gigabytes (15,360 megabytes) - 1 megabyte roughly equals a typical book w/ 500 pages × 2000 characters/page • Current AIS data storage is 17% of capacity – room to grow!

OSA ADRC Grant Proposal: What did we say we would do and why? GOAL I. Enhance individual choice and support informed decision-making through person-centered planning/thinking (PCP/PCT) and comprehensive information and awareness (I&A): • Implement a statewide LTC resource database. • OSA is responsible for management of the statewide I&A data application and LTC website, including a statewide LTC resource database.
