Brainiest subjects • Their subjects are music, art, math, reading, social studies, and Japanese language.
Cool grades • They have grades from first to ninth. • They take exams to enter high schools and continue on to college. • Preschoolers may attend cram school.
Awesome holidays • Some awesome holidays are festivals, parades, colorful kites, special costumes, dancing ,and fun, but New Years is the biggest and brightest event.

Ways to get to school • WALK to school, DON'T take buses, parents don’t take or pick-up their kids. Usually kids walk as a group. Little children wear the same equipment so people see where they are. Older children go with parents on crowded buses or trains.
Chores • The children have teams. The teams clean the schoolyard,classroom,and halls. The teams also help serve lunch.
Uniforms • They have STRICT rules. They have to follow the rules.
Food • They eat rice, onigiri(rice balls wrapped in seeweed), takoyaki(octopous,onion,fish flakes, and seaweed. • Sushi (rice,or fish raw or cooked), noodles (ramen and others), tofu (bean curd), and they drink alot of tea with their meals.
Others • Children go to school in April till March. • They have breaks for the seasons. • Children still have homework.
