WorkKeys Curriculum: Our Analysis Pros • Robust data reporting • End-of-level quiz to test mastery • Tidier interface • Requires stronger computer literacy • Mobile device accessible Cons • Quiz question randomization will be released in late Nov. ‘17 • Limited instructor role – cannot create students • No immediate plans to incorporate additional CR101 functionality and features (e.g. soft skills suite, career explorer, etc.). Soft launch date of July 2018

How were the WorkKeys assessment updates developed? • Feedback from workforce officials and education professionals across the US • Researching modern business practices • Surveying/interviewing employers, fortune 500 companies, and small businesses
How will staff be trained to understand and implement WorkKeys Curriculum and WorkKeys 2.0?
Studying Outcomes of the Career Readiness Initiative • Case studies identifying methods and models which provide positive outcomes for different populations • Spotlighting most successful programing and identifying their key components • Using data sets from CR101, RegiSTAR, and MOSES
Opportunities for Feedback • Questions/suggestions to pass along to ACT • Use of CR101 (basing future support on this!) • Ideas for training, guidance, meetings, & CRI events, especially as ACT is building out new software • Request for materials/training/conversations
Next Steps for CRI Sites • Meet with frontline staff to debrief them about the updates to the CRI • Confirm that your organization can login to WorkKeys Curriculum, and if your org is a testing site, that your org can login to WorkKeys 2.0 • Designate staff to coordinate the inclusion of WorkKeys Curriculum into existing programming alongside CR101

WorkKeys Curriculum Terms • Group = a means of linking instructors to more than one student or more than one class of students. • e.g., “Class of 2019”, “HiSET Winter” • Class= a course in WorkKeys Curriculum • Course = a set of lessons in one of the subject areas • Task= things to do in a lesson • Core subjects = Applied Math, Workplace Documents, & Graphic Literacy • Placement quiz = initialassessment measuring an individual’s grasp of a subject. Does not automatically route a student into a level • Student = learner, participant, customer, etc • Instructor = assigns lessons and tracks progress of students & groups • Institutional Admin = creates students, instructors, & groups • Institutional Supervisor = assigns lessons and tracks progressof institution
Groups and Classes Group = combined students and instructors Example group: “NCRC Prep” 2 instructors and 14 students are assigned to “NCRC Prep” Classes don’t exist in WorkKeys Curriculum. ACT refers to the different subjects as “courses” and the different groupings of students and instructors as “groups.”

You CANNOT access WorkKeys Curriculum by logging into CR101 WorkKeys Curriculum and CR101 are totally separate systems located on totally separate platforms.
Therefore, logging into CR101 is NOT the correct way to access WorkKeys Curriculum. However…..
