Overview • Summary: • Analyze the light emitted from the primary and secondary stripping foils. • Two rad-hard video camera systems with image processing electronics. • Phosphor screens can be inserted for beam profile measurements (reduced intensity). • Foil illumination by a lamp during the absence of beam will allow visual inspection to confirm the foil integrity. • Status: • Preliminary Design Stage • Investigating the possible information which can be derived from the spectra of light emitted from the foils. • Evaluating components.
