Whyourschooliscalled « Louis Guingot » ? • Louis GUINGOT Remiremont 1864 - Lay-Saint-Christophe 1948 Peintre, décorateur • Louis Guingot lived from 1864 till 1948, painter and interior designer. • In 1979, the County Council decided to give our school the name of a local artist, MrLouisGuingot. • MrGuingot was  the owner of a propriety on the school grounds.He is also famous for inventing the camouflage print.Thisinovative creation saved lots of soldiers lives during the Great War!
