  3. President • The President is the leader of our country. • The President lives and works in the White House. • We elect a new President every four years.

  4. Congress • Congress makes the laws our country has to follow. • They work in the Capital Building. • Each state elects a member to Congress.

  5. Supreme Court • The Supreme Court has nine judges. • They nine judges settle arguments about what the laws mean. • They work in the Supreme Court Building.
