Session Time and Location • Location: Hyatt Regency, San Diego, CA • Time: • Monday: • Afternoon: 1.30 pm – 6.00 pm (2 meeting slots: PM1, PM2) • Tuesday to Thursday: • Morning: 8.00 am – 12.00 pm (2 meeting slots/morning: AM1, AM2) • Afternoon: 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm (2 meeting slots/evening: PM1, PM2) • Total of 14 meeting slots • To get attendance credit towards voting membership for this Plenary, one would require 75% attendance in 11 meeting slots Vivek Gupta, Chair 802.21 WG

Summary of Completed Work • Requirements, Call for Proposals – Sep 2004 • Draft Specification (P802-21-D01) confirmed – May 2005 • Letter Ballot #1 Completed (April 30, 2006) • Return Ratio: 81%, Approval Ratio: 26% • 1323 Comments Received • ~950 Comments Resolved • Ad Hoc Meeting in June in Singapore • Discussion of various contributions for comment resolution • Interaction with other 802 groups and other SDOs • 802.16: Req. sent & solution incorporated in 802.16g • 802.11: Updated MIH proposal being discussed in TGu • 3GPP: Requirements for IS Accepted at 3GPP-SA2#52 Vivek Gupta, Chair 802.21 WG

Plans for the July Meeting • 802.21 Tutorial on Tuesday, July 18, at 7:30 PM • Approve output of 802.21 Ad Hoc in June at Singapore • Complete LB #1 Comment Resolution • Plan for Re-circulation of draft at end of July meeting • Joint sessions with 802.16g and 802.11 • Discussion on future WG activities • Interaction with other 802 groups and external SDOs • Joint sessions with 802.11 and 802.16g • Update from IETF and FMCA • 3GPP/3GPP2 next steps discussion Vivek Gupta, Chair 802.21 WG
