  4. Appositive phrases There are also APPOSITIVE PHRASES. An APPOSTIVE PHRASE is a group of words that includes an appositive and other words that help it. Mr. Grozanick, a totally awesome social studies teacher, teaches at Spring Cove Middle School. Appositive phrase
