AWFE A Walk For Education CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS The Wayne State University Collegiate Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers seeks to host “A Walk For Education” on November 3rd, 2012 and they NEED OUR HELP! Below are a list different ways you can volunteer. Please email me at nsbedaeci@gmail.com if you are interested! Thank you! • Volunteers Needed To: • Solicit funds from local businesses and corporations • Help plan the walk logistics • Get in touch with local schools, community to spread word • Recruit walkers, be a point of contact/Walker lead • Solicit/collect college testing, financing, and registration media (SAT/ACT, GED, FAFSA, college brochures etc.) • Join bag party to create bags for distribution during walk • Help set up/tear down on day of event • Speak on a panel (colleges students preferred), lead fun engineering activities, MC on day of event • Provide food on day of event
