Rules: • Please be silent throughout the game. It’s okay to ask to have a question repeated. • You do not have to cross the line to answer a question if you don’t want to. • Please don’t “keep score” of who crosses. The point is to see how manypeople cross, notwho crosses.
Walk to the line if... • …you are wearing jeans today. • …you are under 18 years old. • …you feel stressed this week. • …you've ever felt judged because of: • your skin color (Racism) • your gender (Sexism) • your body (Ableism)
...you relate to the stories/film/performances? • ...you’ve experienced oppression out in the world? • ... experienced here at school? • ... experienced it in your own home? • …if you feel you can’t succeed ‘cause of the stereotypes that prevent you?
... you are guilty of oppressing others? • ... you have wished that adults/teachers/parents would talk to you about issues related to oppression? • ... you’ve seen your friend bully others? • ...and did nothing about it? • ‘cause you were scared your friend will judge you? • ‘cause you’re scared you would be oppressed too? • didn’t know how to stop?
