1. Login to Blackboard • Go to the Blackboard Login Page and login using your Blackboard user credentials. • Navigate to your Blackboard course and view the content added by your instructor.
2. Click the link in your course to access the Macmillan portal content Note: Your own course in Blackboard will be organized a little differently than what is shown here and will include information specific to your course section/year/semester. Your instructor will tell you exactly where in your Blackboard course page you will find the Macmillan content links.
3a. Registration and Access If you have already registered directly at the Macmillan website, you will be prompted to simply key your Macmillan password and click Go.
3b. Registration and Access If you’re accessing the Macmillan portal for the very first time, you will be presented with the registration form shown here. Fill each of the required inputs in the left column and click Register.
4. Content Access: Purchase or Enter Code? You then will get the option to either: A) Enter an Access Code (that you already purchased at your campus store) or B) Purchase Access for your course content
5a. Unlocking Resources using Access Code If you have already purchased an access code, click the Enter an Access Code option. You will see the screen below to enter it. Once entered, you will have unlocked your premium resources.
5b. Purchasing Access If you haven’t already purchased an access code, you can buy directlyfrom the site simply by clicking Purchase Access. Once purchased, you will have unlocked your premium resources.
6. Accessing the Macmillan portal page Once your content is “unlocked”, you can click Continue to Site, and launch into your Macmillan portal page. Note: Depending on which link you clicked in Blackboard, you may be placed in any page of the Macmillan portal. Sample content shown
