  3. Report Chapter 9 • Setting: A widow’s home, later turns to theirs • Plot: During this chapter Roger Chillingworth becomes close friend’s with Dimmesdale. Roger offers to treat Dimmesdale because looks ill. Roger convinces him to move in together, Roger is secretly keeping an eye on him.Roger Discovers that minister may have a “dark” side to him. • Characters: Chillingworth & Dimmesdale

  4. Report Chapter 10 • Setting: The House & the cemetery that the house over looks • Plot: Basically during the chapter Roger is getting closer & closer to figuring out Dimmesdale’s sin. Roger & Dimmesdale get cuaght staring at Hester & Pearl. It was pretty awkward!! • Characters: Roger, Dimmesdale, Hester & Pearl

  5. Report Chapter 11 • Setting: The House • Plot: Roger Figures out what Dimmesdale did & has chosen to stop being friends with him & is now plotting against him to infrom people of his sin. Dimmesdale also inflicts pain on his chest that never heals. To test his endurance he fasts fir days • Characters: Roger & Dimmesdale (Hester & Pearl are now part of his hallucinations)

  6. Report Chapter 12 • Setting: Town Scaffold & the sermon at church the next morning • Plot:Dimmesdale stands on the scaffold that Hester & Pearl stood at years ago. He isn’t afraid of being caught. As he is there, he finds that the first governor of Massachusetts has passed away. Afterwards, Pearl & Hester join him on the scaffolds & meteor shoots across the sky, leaving a trail that emulates the shape of an “A”. Roger catches them on the scaffold and is shock

  7. Con’tChapter 12 • Dimmesdale freaks out. The next morning at the sermon, many people show up & it is a good day. The sexton meets up with Dimmesdale & gives him one of his gloves he had left on the scaffold the night before. He assumes the “A” shaped meteror trial stood for “angel” because the governor was made an angel that night • Characters: Dimmesdale, Roger

The Question(s) of the Day • What if Roger never found out Dimmesdale secret? • Would Roger and Dimmensdale honestly been good friends or was Roger being to much of a spy? • If they would have been good friends and Roger had never found out his secret, Do you think Dimmensdale would had told him?

  9. Last one  • Roger finds out Dimmensdale secret and then tells the people but they don’t belive him then what?
