  1. The Same Voice Genesis 3:1-17

  2. Genesis 3 1 ¶ Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 † And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

  3. 58-1005M HEAR.HIS.VOICE_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN SUNDAY_ (60) See, we got too many things ahead of the Lord. You can't have the prayer meeting because Mr. Godfrey's on tonight. You can't have the prayer meeting because "We Love Sucy" is on tonight, or some kind of a foolish nonsense like that, that takes up the time. And we don't have time to hear the voice of the Lord. And those who do claim to be Christians, just kneel down of the little prayer like this, kinda homemade. "Lord bless me, and my family, and take care of us. Good night." And the next morning rise and say, "Just guide us through the day. Good day."... We should wait on the Lord. You see, we do all the talking. We don't give Him a chance to talk back to us. That if we would pray and pray until our soul comes into the Presence of God, and then just relax and listen to His voice...

  4. 63-0120M THE.VOICE.OF.GOD.IN.THIS.LAST.DAYS_ PHOENIX.AZ V-9 N-7 SUNDAY_ (73) Adam heard His Voice, in the cool of the evening, and had fellowship with Him. There was no condemnation to Adam. He heard the Voice of God, and he said, "Father, now I lay me down to sleep." And he laid down, and Eve on his arm, the lion, the tiger, and the wild beasts laid right around him, there was no harm, no way of getting sick, no way of wondering if he'd wake up in the morning, they're going to wake up. Adam heard His Voice in the way that he ought to have heard It. (74) But one day he heard his wife's voice. I better leave that alone for a while. But he listened to the wrong voice, yet it was his wife, the closest tie he had on earth. Why didn't he, like Job, "Thou speakest like a foolish woman"? And if it would, the whole human race would be living instead of dying. It changed the course of human beings and time. But he heard a Voice of God, he had fellowship with It, but when he turned... How did he know that his wife was wrong? Remember, it was pleasant.

  5. « 75 † We think today that our organization, church, we think that our prosperity today is God smiling upon us. It looks good. It looked good when Micaiah stood there before the four hundred prophets, and the whole land belonged to them, and the Philistines was on it, or the Assyrians, it looked good. These prophets was telling, "Go out there, that belongs to us. Take it!" But it wasn't the Voice of God. And Micaiah turned around and cursed the voice. And how did he know to do that? Because his vision was exactly with the Word. That's the only way to trust it and see it today, it's got to be on the Word. « 76 † Then did you notice after Adam listened to another voice besides God's Voice, his own wife. And the church is listening to the voice of her organization, injecting into them creeds instead of the Word, letting them live any way they want to. As long as they go to church and a member of a certain church, that's all matters. Closest connection that the believer has on earth, to them, is the church. But the believer, the real believer, the closest connection is the Holy Spirit, is God's Word. 77 So you find out that Adam realized his condition, and he heard the Voice of God calling again, and he was in fig leaves then. But it was a voice of condemnation, "Why have you done this?"

  6. 63-0628M O.LORD.JUST.ONCE.MORE_ HOT.SPRINGS.AR V-20 N-10 FRIDAY_ 145 † Samson standing there, thinking of his error, the things that he had done. Now do you realize what caused him to be that way? The enemy put his eyes out. 146 And that's the first thing that an organization will do, will put your eyes out to any other fellowship but them of your own. Amen. I could say a whole lot of things right there, but I--I won't do it. But you, if you are spiritual-minded, you know what I'm talking about. It'll put your eyes out! Just you and your group; if you're a Methodist, you're only Methodist; if you're a Baptist, you're only Baptist. If you're a Presbyterian, you're... If you are Oneness, if you're Twoness, if you are Threeness, or how many more they got, see, you're just that. "The rest of them is no good."

  7. 63-0728 CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY.OF.GOD.REVEALED_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-3 N-7 SUNDAY_ « 163 † What's His purpose now? Express Himself as a Son, see, and, now, that in Him might dwell "the fullness of the Godhead bodily." I'm, I've got Colossians laying here, right before me. See? That, all through the Scripture, that's what God purpose was. Then, through this Life of this Son, His cross, "the Blood," it says here, "of His cross," that He might reconcile to Himself a Body, a Bride; which is Eve, second Eve. And God give it in a type, like He did Moses and all of them. The same thing He did in Adam and Eve, giving a type, that they were Christ and the Bride. He is the second Adam; the Church is the second Eve. 164 And as long as the second Eve compromises against the Word, isn't she doing the same thing the first Eve did? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Trying to say, "Well, it was for some other age." And we'll get to that in a few minutes, whether He said that it was for another age. How can it be another age, when He is "the same yesterday, today, and forever"?

  8. 63-0728 CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY.OF.GOD.REVEALED_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-3 N-7 SUNDAY_ « 170 † Now noticing, in bringing that back; and letting that man do that, and knowing that he would do it, knowed he would do it. But what did it do? It displayed His attribute as Saviour. And the whole purpose then is left in Jesus Christ, to become... God Himself to take the penalty of His Own law, death, to die, to redeem the wife that was lost by rejecting Him. 171 When Eve went away from the Word, she went away from her mate. And when the church goes away from the Word, to a denomination, she rejects and commits fornications with the world of man's wisdom, rejecting the authority of God's Word. That sound clear? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] The Bible said, "Committing spiritual fornications." Any Word in the Bible, that's rejected, or if any self-interpretation put to It, it's absolutely rejecting and committing adultery against the God that is your Husband. An adulteress never enters the Kingdom of Heaven, we know that. See? Now, see, that's what Eve done at the first place.

  9. NUMBERS 14:22-24 (22) † Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; (23) † Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: (24) † But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it. JOHN 6:47-51 (47) † Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (48) † I am that bread of life. (49) † Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. (50) † This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. (51) † I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

  10. 60-0607 HEARING.RECEIVING.AND.ACTING_ CHAUTAUQUA.OH TUESDAY_ « E-30 † I feel tonight, Brother Sullivan, like Joshua and Caleb did. "We are more than able to take it." We are more than able to have a real old fashion God sent Pentecostal revival. God made the promise: "In the last days I'll pour out My Spirit upon all flesh." We're more than able to do it. The quality's right here. Right under here tonight, is all kinds of gifts, all kinds of powers of God. The only thing, we're kindy taken back on it. Stand right up to it. Amen. God don't want cowards.Oh, Joshua hushed the crowd and said, "Stand still a minute." This bunch of borderline believers here, already tasted the grapes of Canaan, then 'fraid we can't take it. "God promised us down yonder four hundred years ago, that we could take it. We're more than able to do it." On into the land they went and took it. Not any of them that murmured ever did go in the land. And Jesus said, "They are dead." Dead, that's eternally separated. Said they're... He said, "Our fathers ate manna in the wilderness for forty years."He said, "And they're all dead. But I'm the Bread of Life that come from God out of heaven. If a man eats this bread, he shall live forever." Amen. What different food we got today. With this food that we're getting, ought to give you a backbone like a saw log and put plenty of knowledge of the Gabriel into your soul.

  11. 63-0120M THE.VOICE.OF.GOD.IN.THIS.LAST.DAYS_ PHOENIX.AZ V-9 N-7 SUNDAY_ (105) † Closing, I might say this. There was a man one time who was a believer. He had been dead four days. He was in the grave, stinking, rotten, but he heard the Voice of God speak, "Lazarus, come forth!" And if It brought a man forth after being dead and rotten, what ought It to do to a church that still has life in it? It ought to resurrect them, in the mess of all of these voices that we've talked about, religious, politics, Hollywood, all the false prophecies and things that's gone out. In the midst of all of it, the true Voice of God will call a man, that's dead in sin and trespasses, to life again. It ought to take a backslidden church and call it to life again. Sure! (106) † Remember, in closing, I say this, and then I'll close. Jesus said, "The time would come, when all that was in the grave would hear the Voice of God." And you're going to hear It. No matter what condition you're in, you're going to hear It anyhow. And some of them that come out of the grave, will come to condemnation. They hear the Voice, but It's condemning. And if you hear It today, "Today, after so long a time, when you hear My Voice, harden not your hearts, as you did in the days of provocation." And if you, Pentecostal people grouping yourself out in creeds again, in worldliness, "having a form of godliness and denying the Power thereof," before you have to rise in the resurrection to be condemned, because the Voice of God that speaks to you now through the Word will condemn you in that day.

  12. 60-1231 REVELATION.CHAPTER.FOUR.1_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN ROJC 551-584 SATURDAY_ « 154 † That same Voice said to John, "Come up here, I'll show you some things that's fixing to happen." That same Voice that shall sound when the dead in Christ shall rise, "For the trumpet... " The trumpet! What is a trumpet? The Voice of Christ, the same One sounded and summoned him up. He heard the Voice like a trumpet sound and said, "Come up hither!" See how the resurrection will be? It'll be in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. That clear sounding Voice, and He'll summons the Church, calling, "Come out of it." That great summonsing Voice. God, help me to hear It that day.

  13. John 5:24-29 (24) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (25) † Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. (26) † For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; (27) † And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. (28) † Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, (29) † And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

  14. 15-3 † THE.REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1 Now remember this. Christ in the True Church is a continuation of the Book of Acts. But the Book of Revelation shows how that the antichrist spirit would come into the church and defile it, making it lukewarm, formal and powerless. It exposes Satan, revealing his works (attempted destruction of God's people and the discrediting of God's word) right down to the time he is cast into the lake of fire. He fights that. He cannot stand it. He knows that if the people get the TRUE REVELATION of the TRUE CHURCH and what she is, what she stands for and that SHE CAN DO THE GREATER WORKS, she will be an invincible army. If they get a true revelation of the two spirits within the framework of the Christian church, and by God's Spirit discern and withstand the antichrist spirit, Satan will be powerless before her. He will be as definitely thwarted today as when Christ withstood his every effort to gain power over Him in the desert. Yes, Satan hates revelation. But we love it. With true revelation in our lives, the gates of hell cannot prevail against us, but we will prevail over them.

  15. 57-0825E HEBREWS.CHAPTER.TWO.2_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN HEB SUNDAY_ 106 What is it? We're so interested in, "What's the next chapter of television? "What's Susie going to do?" or what that woman's name is. "And where Arthur Godfrey is going to? What kind of a joke is he going to pull the next time?" We, as Christian, gam our mind full of such tommyrot, when we ought to be in prayer somewhere, and study the Bible, to know the signs of the time we're living in. 107 What does that, of our time, is weak pulpits, that's right, that don't get down and bring the Gospel Truth. We're going to have to answer for that in the days to come. We must not neglect anything. And the people, as we are here at this Branham Tabernacle, to see the signs and wonders, and the power of the resurrected Christ; and then to know that we would place our--our times upon other things, and neglect to hear the Voice of the Lord Jesus, "How shall we escape, if we neglect such a great salvation?"

  16. 61-1001E THE.COMFORTER_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-15 N-5 SUNDAY_ « 180 † What is it? God's Word anchored in your flesh, that gives you Eternal Life, that gives you the resurrection power to bring you from the things of the world, from blind traditions of man, to walk in the Sunlight of the health of God. That's what the Comforter does. It lifts you out of that cellar condition. It brings you up in the Presence of God, and gives you an experience with God, that you can scream with Job of old, "I know my Redeemer liveth." Then if we see His Word, and we've refused to walk in the Light as He is in the Light, then our fellowship with God is cut off. But when we see the Light and walk in the Light, as He is the Light, then we have fellowship one with another; and the Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses us from all sin.
