  2. Stonehenge was made in Amesbury, United Kingdom, in England on the continent of Europe.

  3. Stonehenge was built in between 3,000 B.C. - 1,600 B.C.

  4. It is not clear who built the monument, but some people believe that the Greek gods set them up, but there is no way that they could pick up 50 tons in their hands!

  5. Stonehenge is made of dozens of large stones forming a circle.

  6. These stones weigh 25 tons (23 metric tons) and stand up to 13 ½ feet (4.1 meters) tall.
