  2. Hardware • Explain why you will need to use a PC or Laptop. Include make and brief summary of specifications. Discuss advantages\disadvantages of using a laptop over a PC and vice versa. Conclude which you will use (laptop, PC or both) and why? • Explain why you will use a microphone, Dictaphone or MP3 recorder. Briefly explain the advantages and disadvantages of them all and which ones you will use and why? • Explain why you will use a Digital Camera\ Video Camera. Brief summary of advantages and disadvantages of using each? Which one will you use and why? Make of the device? • Scanner why you will need a scanner? Brief summary of things to be careful of when scanning (moiré patterns, dpi etc). Which scanner will you use and why?

  3. Software • Explain why you have decided to use Flash instead of other software applications such as PowerPoint and Mediator? Briefly explain the tools and facilities it offers. • Explain how you could also use Macromedia Flash MX or Jasc Animation Shop 7 to create an animated Logo for example. What facilities have they got and which will you use and why? • Explain how you could use Audacity 1.2.4 to create your own sound? How is it suitable and what facilities does it offer? • Explain why you could use Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 or Adobe Photoshop CS3 to create and edit images. How are they suitable and what facilities do they offer? Which one will you use and why?
