  4. 3SAQS and 3SDW Management ActivitiesJune - September 2013 • Developed SoW for Technical Committee recommendations from May workshop • Submitted in June • Process to modify existing UNC-NPS agreement • Completed in September • Work began immediately • Monitoring Network Assessment • 2011 Meteorological Modeling • Emissions and air quality modeling • Team work on Data Warehouse development Three State Air Quality Study

Current Tasks • WRF meteorological modeling for 2011 (ENVIRON, UNC) • Emissions inventory for 2011 base year (ENVIRON, UNC) • Base and future year oil and gas inventories (ENVIRON) • Phase 1A – Estimate 2011 oil and gas emissions based on readily available data • Phase 1B – Estimate future year 2012-2030 oil and gas emissions based on readily available data • Projection period inventories (UNC) • Air quality modeling and analysis (ENVIRON , UNC) – includes Monitoring Network Assessment • 3SDW development (CIRA, UNC, ENVIRON ) Three State Air Quality Study

Management ActivitiesNovember 2013 into 2014 • Commitment to Steering Committee and Leadership Team for “late 2013” milestone to have Data Warehouse on-line • Tom now at WESTAR – initially a new WESTAR-NPS agreement for Tom’s time • Outcomes from this meeting to Steering Committee for December 3rd meeting, followed by Leadership Team (early 2014 - TBD) • Discussions and Recommendations today • Base year of 2008 and future projections from 2008 ready for routine NEPA project studies “to and from the 3SDW” as of when? • Process to complete assessment and recommend 2014-17 monitoring network and budget • Progress toward 2011 base year work and associated future projections Three State Air Quality Study
