Kernbichler (TU Graz) • Numerical evaluation of neoclassical toroidal viscosity due to non-resonant • magnetic perturbations, using the drift kinetic equation solver NEO-2 • NEO-2 is now capable now of modelling electron cyclotron current drive (ECCD) • ´ efficiency in tokamaks fast and with reasonable CPU times • NEO-2 is also suitable for stellerator modelling (higher dimensionality) with • reasonable CPU times. Therefore NEO will also be used for the computation of • ECCD in W7-X in co-operation with IPP Greifswald.
